Back to School Looks for Working Moms

We know, we know — you may not be the ones headed back to school, but who’s to say your wardrobe doesn’t need a little fall refresh?

We’ve partnered with working mama, Whitley Adkins, of the Queen City Style to bring you fashion-forward looks you can add to your closet from our favorite place to spend cash — Target.

Whitley Adkins is a Charlotte-based fashion stylist, creative director and magazine style editor. She is also a mom of two boys (14 and 11). Her eye for style has been celebrated by and featured in Lucky Magazine, South Park Magazine, and Charlotte Parent.

When asked how being a working moms impacts her boys — either positively or negatively, Whitley said,

I think it shows them what working hard and not giving up on yourself or your dreams can do for you. I am lucky enough to have a job that is flexible enough for me to spend time with my kids. Whether that is taking them to school, making them dinner, going to games or doing fun family outings. Sure, they see me feeling overwhelmed at times, wanting to do it ALL — more than necessarily at times, but hey, we are definitely keeping it real over here!
